This is really gorgeous! Very well done. I'm assuming the body was done in garter stitch rather than reversed stockinette? I don't own a knitting machine, so not sure how they stitches work. But, I think the plainness of the body and sleeves is a gorgeous contrast to the lace.

I wasn't sure how I felt about the beads at first since you already have so much going on, but I think they definitely make the piece look more classy and less (no offense) trashy. Without them it just wouldn't have looked as "pretty".

The little puffs on the shoulders are adorable and you managed to pick a hairstyle for your friend that helped them pop out more. Nice touch.

Very creative with the collar, too! I like the two tone colors and the edging. Did you do that on the machine as well or by hand?

Overall, I'd give the photo itself an 8/10 because a) your friend's pose looks a little unnatural, and b) I'd like to see more of the sweater's bottom to see if there's any sort of beige edging there as well. Also, since this is meant to show off the sweater, I think the bra shouldn't have been worn. Unless your friend is top heavy and needs to support to give the sweater a good shape, the straps seem to take away from the lace and stand out too much from her skin tone.

For the sweater, I'd definitely give it a 10/10. It's an absolutely beautiful color and you did an excellent job on the construction and choice of stitches. I'd love to know what color/brand yarn the body is, I think I may need to get some!

Also, do you think you'll be selling a pattern for it? Maybe even try submitting it to a magazine because it's really top notch!
